Thomas founded Vanguard Painting Inc in 2001 after serving as Vice President of Roerich Painting, Inc., where he spent more than a decade developing expertise in estimating, project management, and field operations. Over the course of his career, he has built a reputation for reliability, attention to detail, and delivering projects on schedule.

Thomas holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. His background in construction management allows Vanguard Painting to approach every project with careful planning, accurate cost estimation, and strong coordination with contractors, agencies, and project teams.

Vanguard Painting Inc is a signatory contractor with the Painters and Allied Trades Union – District Council No. 36, reflecting the company’s commitment to professional craftsmanship and industry standards. Thomas has also served as Vice President of the Gold Coast Chapter of the Painting & Decorating Contractors of America (PDCA) since 2008.

In addition to his work in the construction industry, Thomas has served both his country and community through prior service in the U.S. Army and the Los Angeles Police Department. These experiences continue to inform the company’s values of discipline, integrity, and accountability.
